4 Nov 2025:  After an extended break from photography during which time my website has not been maintained, I hope to add some new images in the coming weeks. Watch this space!

25 Mar 2024: The latest Yorkshire Monochrome Group Photographic Exhibition, featuring 2 of my recent images, has just opened at Saddleworth Museum & Gallery (OL3 6HS) and will run until Sunday 21 April 2024. You can find more information about the exhibition and Yorkshire Monochrome Group here.

18 Jan 2024: Today I have uploaded the first of my Project Galleries “Beside The Sea”. Click on the relevant link above to view the images. I have also updated the image on my Home page to display a panoramic view of Whitby, taken from just above the “keyhole”.

4 Sep 2022: Somewhat belatedly, I am happy to announce that my image “Minimal Whitby Piers” (see below) was on display at the Theatre Royal, York in August. It was part of the Royal Photographic Society Digital Imaging Group’s 2022 Annual Print Exhibition.

23 Feb 2022: 3 of my images will be displayed as part of the Yorkshire Monochrome Group Exhibition at Saddleworth Museum starting on Saturday 26 February. Full details can be found here: Saddleworth Museum Art Exhibitions

6 Feb 2022: When I imagined this page I expected to have things of interest to report on a regular basis. Sadly the Covid pandemic put paid to that. However, I did manage to get out with my camera (on North Yorkshire’s east coast) in September 2021 and I will be adding some new images to my galleries in the near future.
